Our Ministry
The ministry of St. Giles strives to serve not only those within the congregation but also others in the wider community and around the world. Our membership which, including adherents, is over 300 strong, supports a variety of activities. Various committees are involved in service to our members and in a variety of outreach programs. Prominent among these is a strong pastoral care team which visits shut-ins and people in hospital. Locally our members prepare food and serve meals at the Inn of the Good Shepherd while internationally we maintain an active partnership with a pastor in Kenya who is helping in the fight against HIV/AIDS in that country. Services
Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Also Church School at the same time for children from age 3 to high school. A Nursery for babies and toddlers is also provided.
St. Giles, A Place of Peace
St. Giles is a welcoming church set in beautiful north Sarnia on a heavily treed lot near the shores of Lake Huron.
We believe Jesus Christ is head of the Church.
In St. Giles Presbyterian Church we offer to all people the good news of God, whom we know as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We seek to care for the congregation and the community through worship, programs and fellowship which reflect our reformed tradition in these changing times and gives a solid foundation for living.
